The top award for a first-year team, recognizing a strong start that embodies FIRST's values.
where you actually meet Rookie All-Star Award
Rookie All-Star is the highest award a first-year team can win, and it advances the team — so it is worth understanding in September rather than March. Judges look for a rookie that already behaves like a programme: outreach started, sponsors thanked properly, safety taken seriously, and a robot the students can clearly explain because they built it themselves.
