where you actually meet EPA

EPA is the number most teams glance at before a match to know roughly what their alliance is worth. It updates match by match and is comparable across events, which OPR is not. It still cannot see strategy — a robot with a modest EPA that plays flawless defence can decide a playoff series, and no rating model will warn you about that.
